The Coming Storm is an exploration-driven encounter with some cult and espionage themes, and is balanced for a party of four to five Level 4 adventurers. The plot of this adventure draws heavy inspiration from Batman Begins, specifically the poisoning of the city’s water with an alchemical substance, and the deceiving of the local crime organizations to do so.
 
Most of the adventure will take place in the City Sewers at the edge of where Harborfront meets the Arden Floating Market. Most of the adventure will focus on the Player Characters (PCs) contending with the Draugr Court for the first time, and giving them some insights into the group’s nefarious goals. Additionally, while this quest is likely to end with a confrontation between the PCs and a member of the Draugr Court, it is possible they might feel they are in over their heads and will attempt to report back on their observations. Regardless, it is very likely they will end up doing battle with some undead and The Candlemaker who is controlling and creating them.
